Georgian Restaurant Laliko in New York Receives a Michelin Award

In recent years, New York has been experiencing an exciting and very welcome trend — a true renaissance of Georgian cuisine.

And now, some great news: Laliko has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand 2025. The Michelin Bib Gourmand is not a “star,” but a separate official Michelin distinction. It ranks above simply being included in the guide, yet below the star category. More precisely, it recognizes restaurants that offer excellent food at a more accessible price point.

Considering that the city has around 30,000 restaurants, including about 70 Georgian ones, this recognition is so well deserved!

About Laliko

Since opening in the spring of 2025 on Carmine Street, Laliko has quickly become one of the most talked-about and beloved Georgian restaurants in the city. Its concept is a refined interpretation of tradition. The menu features khachapuri, khinkali, pkhali, and other classic dishes, combining deep flavors and a thoughtful gastronomic approach with a warm, home-like atmosphere.

The Michelin award is a recognition of the restaurant’s culinary level, its team, and its overall vision. Congratulations to everyone behind Laliko’s success, and especially to Artem Baibuz, whose dedication and passion for the project are evident in every detail.
