Today we’re telling you about a coffee shop that only 48 people can visit each weekend — and where tickets must be purchased in advance. LAOBRA CAFÉ is a spacious, bright venue in Bushwick that transforms on weekends from a photo studio into a stylish coffee shop with coworking space and unlimited drinks.
The café sells only 48 tickets or memberships in advance and is open only on Saturdays and Sundays. To visit, guests must choose a time slot (from 10 AM to 3 PM), though they may stay until closing at 5 PM. Walk-ins are not permitted. The idea is to maintain an atmosphere that is neither too noisy nor too formal — somewhere in between.
Admission costs $30 per person and includes unlimited drinks (tea/coffee). Pastries can also be pre-ordered for $6 per item.

Cultivating a communal space for artists seeking balance between work and personal life. It’s also a place to build valuable connections within the creative industry. It feels like a place where you’re always expected and warmly welcomed. Stylish interiors, excellent coffee, impeccable service, and no lines — not exactly what New Yorkers are used to. The fashionable crowd and creative atmosphere make you want to return again soon.
