Good afternoon, this is NYCP — New York Coffee Police. I’ve got great news: just the other day, a special coffee shop opened in Brooklyn, all the way from California!
Canyon Coffee is a cult coffee brand from Los Angeles. The team roasts coffee and sells it both online and offline. All of their coffee is exclusively single origin and certified organic.
They also offer other products — for example, New York Times Wirecutter ranked Canyon Instant as the best instant coffee, noting that it tastes closest to freshly brewed coffee.
Their first Canyon Coffee location opened in 2022 in Echo Park, one of the most creative and trendy neighborhoods on the east side of Los Angeles. The café quickly became a cultural phenomenon.
Canyon Coffee’s menu includes filter coffee, espresso, and signature drinks such as a pistachio milk cortado and draft lattes (on tap!) with flavors like fig, tea, and oat milk.
Those taps became a signature feature of the Echo Park café: six taps behind the bar allow for fast and precise preparation of cold drinks using perfected recipes. The same taps can now be found at the new Brooklyn location.
